About Kate Moss
English supermodel, Kate Moss was born in January 1974 in Croydon, England. She was discovered at the JFK airport in 1988 by the founder of Storm Model Management, Sarah Doukas. Her first shoot titled ‘The 3rd Summer of Love’ was an 8-page spread for The Face magazine in 1990.
She became famous as the “anti-supermodel” in contrast to the tall and curvaceous Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford.
At the age of 18, she became the face of Calvin Klein and posed alongside Mark Wahlberg, which brought her instant fame in the industry.
Since then Kate Moss has worked for the biggest designers, including Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Chanel, Rimmel and Bvlgari. She has appeared on over 300 magazine covers around the world, such as Vogue US, UK and France, Vanity Fair and W magazine (she has recently been announced to be on the cover of the 60th-anniversary issue of Playboy magazine).
After a low of about 12 months, Kate managed to get back on top and has bagged herself modelling jobs with Agent Provocateur, Burberry and has released her collection for Topshop.
